For the last few months, people have been cutting their own bangs everywhere you look; they’ve become an obvious quarantine by-product, whether it’s your best friend or favorite celebrity. You may be persuaded you ‘re never going to make that drastic of a chop, but that’s a probable indication you haven’t been introduced to the fresh bangs of Priyanka Chopra before. The new wispy package for the actor is so cool, in no time you’ll be shipping a few shears to your house.

This is Chopra’s new iteration of bangs since her appearance last October on TODAY, where chic curtain bangs framed her profile and did so for much of the fall. But this new trend is even more dramatic as it has a full-blown fringe put on.

Chopra * officially * debuted her bangs in a Sept. 12 Instagram post, captioning it “New hair, don’t care.” But she didn’t know that the world will most definitely care, as her new bangs are just that sweet. Her ‘do consisted of light and wispy bits cut around her forehead, seamlessly blending into the rest of her hair, which has hint of warm blonde highlights.

New hair, don’t care.

Although the look was fresh, in a post she posted it a few days ago, but then did not acknowledge it. Chopra turned up the heat for her picture dedicated to the look, curling the length to give it extra texture. To go with her hair and she picked nothing but a raspberry pink lip and mascara, keeping the makeup natural in her beautiful selfie.

The origin story of this wonderful new fringe is still unknown, which means, indeed, there is a chance that Chopra herself did the chopping. If she did, there is more evidence that cutting your own bangs during quarantine is entirely possible it’s just a matter of getting the right equipment, and probably your hairstylist on a speed dial. But if you want to guarantee a cut as beautiful as Chopra’s, it won’t do you wrong to mask up and head to the salon.
