Scientific theories do not really work when it comes to the Laws of Beauty, but if they do, it can be proved that autumn will still carry with it so many neutral lacquers and jewel-tone manicures. This raises the question: is nail polish more to fall than that or is the world forever trapped with this pattern? The response lies inside the baby blue nails of Hailey Bieber, which may be the newest manicure of the model, but are also a kind of metaphorical essay on why it’s okay to ignore pumpkin- and mulled wine-colored manicures.
Bieber recently posted a couple of pictures with her Instagram followers from a picnic excursion, where her nail polish took center stage. The hue — a bright blue robin egg — punctuated her entire outfit, consisting of retro-inspired flared jeans and a white crop top. Filed in the form of an almond, the hue was much more reminiscent of a spring or summer shade than one reserved for the fall season.
During quarantine, Bieber played around with her nails a lot, sticking to no specific trends and this is one of the occasions that she posted bright shade choices and cute designs (see: delicate daises and vivid oranges).
Although this may be due to the spur of wild beauty experiments lockdown, when it comes to her polish picks Bieber has never been one to follow seasonal traditions.
Last year’s fall into the autumn, the model stunned in a bright lime green manicure, and as seen in a People report, at her bachelorette party she also rocked a lavender manicure during the fall, not sticking to those anticipated hues. Her present manicure (and her others before this one) is justification enough why it could be worth dipping into the summer and spring color tub.
Take a page from Bieber ‘s book and forget about classic colors in fall. You can shop for a whimsical color, which is similar to hers, below.
