After being accused of in search of out ladies and verbally abusing them on the set of Stranger Issues earlier within the week, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, aka the Duffer Brothers, the writing, directing and manufacturing duo behind the hit present, are talking out. 

On Saturday, the Duffer Brothers issued a press release to E! Information, “We’re deeply upset to study that somebody felt uncomfortable on our set. Because of the excessive-stress nature of manufacturing, tempers sometimes get frayed, and for that, we apologize.”

The duo continued, “Nevertheless, we expect it will be significant to not mischaracterize our set, the place we consider strongly in treating everybody pretty no matter gender, orientation, race, faith, or anything. Netflix was fast to reply by saying that the matter was investigated and “no wrongdoing” by the brothers was discovered.

A spokesperson from Netflix advised E! Information in a press release,  “We appeared into the priority that was raised once we heard of the allegation on Thursday, and located no wrongdoing. Sustaining a protected, respectful environment on set is necessary to us, and we all know it’s to the Duffer Brothers as nicely.”

On March eight, Peyton Brown, a former grip on the present, took to Instagram to name out the duo. 

“I can’t be part of the filming of Season three of Stranger Issues. Why, you ask? As a result of I stand with my sisters,” the self-proclaimed “woman woman in ATL” wrote on her Instagram account.

The publish, which was shared in honor of Nationwide Ladies’s Day, continued, “I personally witnessed two males in excessive positions of energy on that set hunt down and verbally abuse a number of ladies.”

Whereas she didn’t identify the brothers immediately within the publish, she did affirm the caption was about them when a commenter requested within the remark part of the submit. 

“There was yelling, there have been insults, there have been threats and other people have been even fired or pressured to give up due to them.
